Drone Swarm

The self-organizing network module of the Kilohop unmanned aerial vehicle series is a set of wireless network communication modules that utilize MIMO technology. It features a small size, light weight, large bandwidth, and long distance. The single-hop radius can reach up to 20 kilometers, and it can support up to 6 hops or more. It can simultaneously support video transmission for 16 nodes. After multiple unmanned aerial vehicles take off, they will automatically form a network connection. By leveraging the height of the unmanned aerial vehicles and the unobstructed environment characteristics, it can cover an area of hundreds of kilometers.

The self-organizing network relay module of the Kilohop unmanned aerial vehicle weighs only 300g and has a transmission power of 2W. It provides multiple installation holes for the rapid installation of the unmanned aerial vehicle. This module is equipped with network ports and serial ports, which can be connected to the flight control and camera. The unmanned aerial vehicles can directly send flight control instructions through the MESH network, working collaboratively without the need for ground forwarding. The images collected by the unmanned aerial vehicles can also be transmitted back to the ground in real time through the self-organizing network link.

The Kilohop wireless broadband ad hoc communication system features security, convenience and mobility. It can also be applied to other scenarios where communication conditions are poor, such as in remote mountains, deserts and border areas.
